Eligibility for Admission
Academic
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or equivalent examinations recognized by any of the Universities in the State of Kerala with Aggregate of 50% marks in Physics Chemistry, Biology and 50% marks in English are eligible for admission.
Relaxation in Marks
Candidates belonging to SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) in the State of Kerala with total annual family income up to Rs. 8 lakhs will have relaxation of 5% marks. The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates in the state of Kerala need only a pass in the qualifying examination.
Selection by Allotment Process
The Allotment Process for Seats in Mount Zion Nursing College will be made as per the schedule included in the prospectus, and allotments will be strictly based on merit following the reservation criteria mentioned in clause 2.1 and 2.2 of the prospectus.
Special Instructions
(i) Ragging: Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. All the member colleges are committed to abolish ragging in their campuses. Any student indulging in ragging will face penal action and be expelled from the college as per law and Supreme Court directions.
(ii) Code of Conduct: Every student is required to strictly adhere to the code of conduct of the institution to which they are admitted.
