Mount Zion Group of institution has been set by its patron in the year 1983 with a passion to provide value based superior quality professional education to the young generation and is managed by the Charitable & Welfare Society (Reg.No. Q 378/83) incorporated 1983. Mount Zion nursing college has its inception in 2011 with an intake of 50 students and its survive to emerge as a center of excellence in nursing education with enough capacity to provide leadership in nursing education research and practice the college is affiliated to INC, KNMC and KUHS.
Mount Zion medical college is 700 bedded Multi- Speciality hospital situated at Chayalode, Adoor.
The college is currently running 14th batch Bsc nursing programs with excellent infrastructure facilities. A well-established library, eminent teaching faculties, offer best opportunity to enter the noble profession of nursing. Mount Zion Nursing College offers 4 years (8 semester) BSc nursing program. The profession including nursing care, nursing education,nursing research and nursing administration.
To achieve this, the institution believes that a good understanding of basic scientific principles in nursing, principles of communication, interpersonal relationship, learning, teaching and research are essential as nursing is a profession influenced by scientific and technological advancements to serve the people, be in the hospital or community
